About Saxon

Hi there! I'm wife and girl mom living in Gridley, CA. My passion for photography was one that wasn't obvious to me. As a kid I dreamed of being a photographer but quickly dismissed the thought given that it's a competitive market and requires some technical learning. When cell phones advanced in their cameras I started just having fun with taking pictures, as life went on I met my husband who's a chef and we started a food blog together. There my journey really began with learning photography.

I've taken more workshops and short courses on photography than I care to count. Not to mention lots of independent online research, learning from experts, and self experimentation through trial and error. I started branching out to photography of our dog (who's an influencer), then general product and influencer photography,.

I didn't actually intend on doing 'people' photography, but I kept having people ask me to do their pictures because they loved my food photography so much. So I gave it a try, and here we are! Happy and thriving.
