DEPOSIT

Shoots that are not wedding or business branding:

I require a $15 deposit which counts towards the overall cost of the shoot, the remainder is due the day of the photoshoot. 

If it takes longer than a couple conversations for you to decide on a location for a session then I will need the deposit to continue as I am investing time and research which is part of my services. I will not give advice on wardrobe and accessories until after deposit is paid as this is also included in my services.

Weddings and business branding:

I require a $100 deposit which counts towards the overall cost of the shoot, the remaining balance is due before the wedding and may be paid in installments if needed. 

Deposits are non-refundable, unless I cancel on you for any reason. If I cancel you will get your deposit back.  If you reschedule then you don't need to pay a second deposit.

This applies to all shoots: if you do not place a deposit, you do not have a booked session with me. The only way to secure a time with me is if you place the deposit. The reason for this is because I have had people string me along for months which is taking advantage of my time, services, and in the end the person never booked meaning I essentially worked for free and I missed out on a potential way to provide for my family. If you do not book, someone else might. My time is precious to me, please respect my time and efforts.

PHOTOS

If you post the photos anywhere online or on social media you must give me photo credit by tagging me and my business, my tags for all social media platforms are:

The reason I require this is because this is essentially my art and the majority of my clientele comes from the people who see your pictures. If you don't tag me, I miss out on any possible potential business. All session prices include an already marked unseen discount to compensate you for sharing my work and allowing me to share/use it as well. If you ask me not to share you may be asked to pay a small fee. Without the use of everyone's pictures I essentially have nothing to show people to gain more business, nothing to use for advertisements, etc.

You may not edit (filter, crop, etc.) the photos in any way, the reason I ask this is because when you don't edit the original photo it diminishes the quality of the photo and that does not represent my best work. Also, if you put a filter, it would no longer be my creative work and that is misleading to others. HOWEVER, if you would like anything edited (a blemish removed, black and white filter, crop, or a different style, etc) please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you and fix it.

 

WEDDINGS

If there are certain shots you need/want, I require that you give a list of requested photos along with names of the people you want in the picture. I will provide a form for you to fill out.

If you have inspirational pictures that you've always wanted for your wedding day, I would love to see them even if you have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to it. I would be happy to look over it. I LOVE that. 

You are required to tell me where the wedding will be and you must either send me pictures of every room/area I will be photographing or let me tour the place at some point before the wedding. The reason I ask this is because I need to adequately prepare and plan the right equipment and settings to ensure the best quality of photos. I would also like to attend your rehearsal if possible so I can know what to expect and plan where I need to be in order to be as invisible as possible on your special day.

TIMELINE/TURN AROUND TIME

I will tell you the day of our shoot what turnaround time to expect. If I communicate with you that it might be late, I do not offer a refund. If I have exceeded the turnaround time and have not contacted you to let you know that it will be late, I will offer you either a discount for a future session or a 10% refund.

 

If you need your photos by a certain time you are required to communicate that prior to our scheduled session. The reason you must communicate it ahead of time is because I often take on a couple clients at a time so I may not be able to deliver it sooner than I accounted for, but if it is possible, I am happy to prepare for it and deliver it by your requested time.

I take your photos very seriously and you will almost always receive them earlier than promised. If you received them late, please understand that something horrible must have happened in my personal life, and I don't have any staff or business partners in my photography business. It's just me, and there's no one to fill in for me.

LATE POLICY

If you are late, I will wait the entire length of the agreed upon session. When you arrive we will take photos for the amount of time remaining for the agreed upon session. Example: You have a 30 minute session that starts at 7am, you arrive at 7:25am, I will take pictures until 7:30am and then end the session. If you would like to have the full length of the session and I am available to work past our agreed upon time you may pay a late free in addition to the remaining balance of the session for the remaining time. A late fee is $10 per every 10 minutes. It is not guarantied that I will be able to work past the original appointment as I am a stay at home mom, and also often have other clients scheduled. For weddings my staying late fee is the same until it reaches 1 hour or more. Per hour is $150.
